Children or parenting issues

On separation, arrangements for the children can often lead to disputes between parents. Where the children are to live and with whom can often be a difficult and emotional challenge. We will try to help you put arrangements in place which will enable both parents to spend quality time with the children, but their emotional and practical needs will always be a priority.

Issues can arise in respect to a parent's care of the children. We can put you in touch with specialists who can help with parenting issues and provide help through support groups if appropriate.

Mediation is very effective for parents who simply cannot agree the arrangements for their children. By having child-focused discussions with both parents, the mediator will help you come to an arrangement that is workable for all concerned.
